Robin Yount (HOF99) visited the Museum on May 5, 2007.
Robin Yount (HOF99) (pictured left) signs an autograph for a member of the Museum. He is
known for having collected more hits in the 1980's than any other player. In fact, Robin finished
with a career total of 3,142 hits!
Bruce Sutter (HOF06) visited the Museum on January 14, 2007.
Bruce Sutter (HOF06) (pictured right) signs an autograph for a member of the Museum. He is
known for having revolutionized the split fingered fastball and was among the first of the closing
relief pitcher specialists. In fact, Sutter is the first pure reliever elected to the National Baseball
Hall of Fame. All 661 of his major league appearances were in relief.
Don Larsen visited the Museum on October 21, 2006.
Don Larsen (pictured left) signs an autograph for a member of the Museum. In baseball,
perfection can only be measured by the numbers in the scorecard. On October 8, 1956, Mr.
Larsen was perfect. His perfect game in the 1956 World Series remains the only no-hitter of any
type ever pitched in the postseason.

"It ain't over 'til it's over!"
Hall of Famer and Yankee great Yogi Berra stopped in with Bob on June 14 to meet and great fans of all ages. On the left, Bob and Yogi pose with a painting especially commissioned for Yogi's visit. (Every guest of Bob gets a special painting made in their honor) On the right, Yogi happily signs books, baseballs, and photos for the many faithful fans who came out on a beautiful Van Meter day to see their two heroes.
The Wizard Visits the Bob Feller Museum
November 2, 2002 - Ozzie "Wizard" Smith came to Van Meter, IA as a guest of Bob Feller to sign autographs for his fans. The only 2002 inductee into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, Ozzie was a popular guest at the museum.
He is pictured here signing a Cardinals jersey.
